Michael Beers focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, family law, probate and estate planning, criminal law, and landlord - tenant law. His litigation experience includes trials, drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and responses, as well as dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment, drafting, and arguing motions.
Michael attended Boston University and the University of Maine School of Law where he graduated with Honors. During law school, Michael served as a Case Note and Comment Editor for The Maine Law Review. His article “Tipping the Scales: Maine Adopts the Continuing Negligent Treatment Doctrine in Baker v. Farrand” was published by The Maine Law Review in 2012.
Michael is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Maine.
